Meeting House Meditation Garden

Located in Ramallah city center, the Quakers Meeting House garden is a 1000 sqm garden that was commissioned by the Meeting House to accommodate a gathering space and a meditation garden for the community. Using mainly materials that existed in the garden itself; pathways and garden furniture were introduced into the planted area, all tiles and furniture were made from the wood of two standing dead pine trees that were located too close to the historical building of the Meeting House and threatening it. While existing pathways and tiled areas were rehabilitated to become accessible to people of all abilities. Finally, the garden itself was planted with local, drought tolerant flora and a water efficient drip irrigation system was installed to serve the garden area.

Permaculture Training Center

​​The permaculture farm and  training center garden was commissioned by Ma'an Development Center in 2013 . the garden surrounds the permaculture training building and was designed to demonstrate different concepts of permaculture design. The design included a 75 cubic meter cistern under the main plaza, a geodesic dome pergola made from construction rebar, raised bed planters, spiral planters, vertical gardens, grey water reed beds, passive solar additions to the existing building and much more.

Dawha Playground

Al Dawha Playground is located in Wadi Al-Joz; a Palestinian neighborhood of East Jerusalem underserved and marginalized by the Jerusalem Municipality. This playground is one of the few playgrounds in the area. The playground itself is located in  Al-Dowha school grounds however was planned to service the four schools in the neighborhood.  The playground infrastructure was rehabilitated to meet international playground safety standards EN 1176. And all play equipment was custom designed and manufactured to meet safety standards and use locally available materials. The playground equipment introduced include outdoor musical instruments, logic games, a play tower, a climbing wall, a Kindergarten play area and a children's planting garden.
